RUNAWAYS Class List: All Classes, Prices, and Loadouts
Every RUNAWAYS class in one table — cost, starting loadout, and stat bonuses for all 11 classes from free Basic to the 850k Juggernaut, plus how to buy.
Classes are RUNAWAYS’ permanent progression. Each one rewrites your spawn kit — loadout, stat bonuses, penalties — before a run even starts, and the purchase lasts forever. Picking right means outrunning the police with a backpack full of loot; picking wrong means paying 850k for a class that’s slower than the free one. This is the complete roster as of Update 1.

Two Robux-only classes exist alongside the Credz roster — Ex-Military (Heavy Armor, Heavy Bullet Pack, Sniper, Large Backpack, +30% melee, +15% run speed) is the notable one, and a Robux variant of Smuggler appears in some builds. Prices for Credz classes are the consensus figures across multiple current sources; always confirm at the Class NPC before a big purchase, since beta patches have retuned prices before.
How to Buy a Class
- Open the game and click the CLASSES button in the left menu.
- Select the class and check the cost.
- Click the purchase button (purple) to unlock it permanently.
- Return to the classes menu anytime to switch — you own every class you’ve bought, forever.
Credz come from daily quests, distance payouts, and codes — the full economy is in the money guide.
Reading the Roster: Three Patterns
Speed is king. RUNAWAYS constantly asks you to leave — chases, timers, state lines. Every class bonus table is really a mobility table in disguise, which is why +20% run speed appears on both the cheapest star (Smuggler) and the most recommended one (Bounty Hunter).
Loadouts are money. A class that spawns with a backpack, a gun, or a crowbar saves you $1,000–$2,000 of in-run cash every single run. Gang Member’s kit (backpack + MAC + ammo + Blue Cow) is nearly $4,000 of gear at spawn.
Penalties bite differently. -10% melee (Smuggler) rarely matters — you avoid fights. -20% run speed (Juggernaut) always matters — you never stop moving. Health penalties hurt most in the border fight; speed penalties hurt everywhere else.
Class-by-Class Notes
Basic (Free) — The default. No kit, no perks. Fine for a first learning run; replace it the moment 45k Credz appears.
Brawler (25k) — +5% melee for -10% speed is a bad trade in a game about leaving. The Knuckle-only loadout buys nothing.
Scout (35k) — The backpack and speed are real, but -20% health makes every police encounter lethal. Outclassed by Smuggler for 10k more.
Old CEO (40k) — Spawns wearing ~$2,400 of sellable jewelry at the cost of -15% health and -5% speed. A gimmick: sell the kit, then play the run underweight.
Smuggler (45k) — The best value purchase in the game. Joint-best speed bonus, Small Backpack, and a Crowbar for ATM money from minute one. The -10% melee is theoretical — you’re not supposed to be fighting anyway. Full argument in the best classes guide.
Contractor (70k) — A reasonable bridge into armed play: Mace + Pistol + ammo covers both ranges. Fades once Bounty Hunter is affordable — same melee bonus, far better mobility.
Medic (120k) — Crew support. Two Medic Bags, Light Armor, and +20% health make grouped border holds dramatically safer. Solo speed-runners get less from it.
Gang Member (170k) — The best mid-price generalist: MAC, ammo, backpack, and Blue Cow at spawn with only -5% health. Covers most of Bounty Hunter’s ground for just over half the price.
Bounty Hunter (300k) — The cleanest stat sheet in the game: +20% speed and +10% melee with zero penalties, plus Machete + Pistol + ammo. The endgame default.
Breacher (550k) — The vault specialist. C4 from spawn removes the biggest bottleneck on high-value targets, the Medium Backpack holds the payout, the Shotgun holds the room, and +40% melee has no attached downside. The top endgame buy for serious crews.
Juggernaut (850k) — The tank: doubled health, Light Armor, a Minigun, and a Medium Backpack. Nothing moves it off a contested block. But -20% run speed is the largest mobility penalty in the game, in a game that keeps asking you to run. A crew tool for dangerous holds — including the border fight, where its health pool is the strongest stat in the game.
FAQ
What is the best class in RUNAWAYS?
For most players, Bounty Hunter (300k) — +20% speed and +10% melee with no penalties, plus a full weapon kit. For value, Smuggler (45k). Full tier rankings in the best classes guide.
What class should I buy first?
Smuggler, at 45k. It’s the cheapest class with a top-tier stat line, and the starting Crowbar pays for itself through ATM runs. If 45k is out of reach, save — don’t buy Brawler or Scout as stopgaps.
Are RUNAWAYS classes permanent?
Yes. Every Credz purchase is a permanent unlock, swappable between runs at the CLASSES menu.
Do class loadouts stack with bought gear?
Class starting loadouts replace the Basic spawn kit; everything you buy in-run (better melee, guns, backpacks) equips on top. A Breacher can still buy a Minigun; a Medic can still carry a Large Backpack.
Which class is best for the Mexico border fight?
Juggernaut — the +100% health pool is the strongest survivability stat for the two-minute hold. Bounty Hunter remains the better all-game pick for getting there. Border strategy: border fight guide.
